About us

Who we are

A faith-based nonprofit in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, opening a safe, sober home for people rebuilding their lives.

Our mission

Saving One Soul at a Time

Way of Life Ministry is a faith-based nonprofit that offers a safe, sober, and structured home for adults rebuilding their lives after alcohol or drug addiction, with a special commitment to military veterans.

[MISSION STATEMENT: 1–2 sentences in your own words]

We believe recovery needs a place to happen. A clean bed, a sober house, clear rules, and people who care can be the difference between relapse and a new beginning. We provide the home. Residents keep their own treatment and care, and we help them stay connected to it.

What guides us

Our values

Dignity

We treat every resident with respect, and we ask the same of everyone in the house. People in recovery are not their worst day.

Safety & accountability

A drug- and alcohol-free home, clear house rules, staff on site overnight, regular testing, and naloxone on hand.

Faith & hope

Our work is rooted in faith [FAITH TRADITION / DENOMINATION]. Faith activities are offered and always optional.

Honor for veterans

Veterans are a priority population. We help connect them to VA care, benefits, and veteran services.

Community

We work hand in hand with churches, treatment providers, courts, and neighbors, because no one recovers alone.

Integrity

We are careful stewards of every gift. We never pay for or accept payment for referrals, and we protect residents’ privacy.

Our promise

Welcoming to everyone

Way of Life Ministry is a faith-based organization. We welcome people of all faiths and people of no faith. Participation in religious activities is always voluntary, and it is never a condition of admission, continued residence, or services.

We do not discriminate in admission, housing, services, or employment on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, nationality, religion, age, disability (including people in recovery from substance use disorder), military or veteran status, marital or domestic partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, source of lawful income or rent payment, or any other status protected by the federal Fair Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504, or the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination.
